New ReviewerSig Sauer reached out to me after I left a negative review on their website. They said if I purchased the grips from them they would offer a full refund.
I purchased them from Optics Planet and sending them into Sig at their request caused me to go outside of the 30 return window. When I explained this to them, and my disappointment that they didnโt honor their warranty bu swapping out he kit for a new one, the customer service manager responded โIf there is anything else we can do for you let me knowโ what an odd response and inappropriate rhetorical question.
They didnโt do anything I. The first place, so how could they do โanything elseโ.
I sent in a very old P226 because I was having light primer strikes with the E2 kit I installed due to a malfunctioning hammer strut. I only wanted to swap out the grips but two agents were adamant that I send in the pistol to make sure it was properly fit.
I really liked the size of the grips so I decided to take them up on their offer, missing out on the 30 day window to return from the retailer I purchased from. After a week I received a call saying they couldnโt do anything because I had put an aftermarket finish on the gun.
They wasted my time and prevented me from returning the defective equipment because their customer service couldnโt ask a few qualifying questions. After some angry words with the agents and their management, I have a feeling my afternarket finish will probably have a few scratches in it.
Reason of review: Poor customer service.
Monetary Loss: $65.
Preferred solution: Full refund.
